How to Book

Remember: Read everything on this page before you redeem the vouchers. Whatever you do, before you key-in the voucher’s serial number, make sure that you check your check-in date falls on what season so that you know whether there is a surcharge or not. Then choose the most appropriate method.

There are 2 ways to book the room:

1^st Method (ONLINE Booking)

* You can redeem the voucher online if your check-in date is in Low season (meaning free stay at the hotel). No surcharge is to be paid.

* If your check-in date falls on Shoulder or Peak season, you’ll be charged with a surcharge (additional fee). Here, you’ll be given an option to pay with credit card. If you don’t have a credit card, book the room with Phone Booking.

* For LOW SEASON online room booking:

• Go to Genting website.
• Check the Seasonal Chart (colored calendar) there to determine whether your check-in date is in Low, Shoulder or Peak season. Please ensure that the date chosen is in LOW SEASON.
• Fill in the form by clicking on BOOK NOW button (choose between First World Hotel or Awana Genting Hotel)

2^nd Method (PHONE Booking)

* You can redeem the voucher by phone call to World Reservations Center (WRC) if you don’t have a credit card to pay for the surcharge (for Shoulder and Peak seasons booking).

* For SHOULDER or PEAK SEASON room booking:

• Go to Genting website.
• Check the Seasonal Chart (colored calendar) there to determine whether your check-in date is in Low, Shoulder or Peak season. Please ensure that the date chosen is in SHOULDER or PEAK SEASON.
• Call 03 – 2718 1118 for reservation. Inform them your voucher’s serial number and your desired check-in date.
• You will then be charged with RM15 for phone booking + the room’s surcharge (this can be paid by MONEY DEPOSIT-deposit machine or by filling in deposit form)

>> Keep the vouchers with you when checking in at Genting, failure to show the vouchers will cause you to pay normal price <<

1. Prior reservation must be made by either of the following:

A surcharge of RM15 per transaction will be imposed for bookings made under this
offer.

2. Free room is applicable during low season only as per our seasonal chart.

3. For check-in during Shoulder or Peak season, surcharge will be imposed.

4. Not valid on the following dates:
-29 & 30 August 2009
-19, 20 & 21 September 2009
-17 October 2009
-27 & 28 November 2009
-24, 25, 26 & 31 December 2009
-1 January 2010
-14 to 20, 26 & 27 February 2010

5. The original voucher must be presented upon check-in, failing which normal room rates will be charged.

6. Subject to availability based on room quota.

7. Walk-in guests will not be entertained.

8. Once booking is confirmed, no amendment and cancellation will be entertained.

9. Free room is offered to guests who checked-in on or before 6pm. Failing which, guest will pay the applicable normal room rates. No appeals or complaints will be entertained.

Terms and Conditions (as printed on vouchers)

1. All vouchers valid till 16 April 2010

2. Vouchers 1-5 are not valid on these dates :
- 29 & 30 Aug 2009
- 19,20 & 21 Sept 2009
- 17 Oct 2009
- 27 & 28 Nov 2009
- 24, 25, 26 & 31 December 2008
- 1 January 2009
- 14-20, 26 & 27 February 2009

Vouchers 7-10 are not valid on these dates :
- Malaysian School holidays
- Malaysian public holidays and eve of public holidays
- 14-20 Feb 2010

3. Each voucher is valid for one transaction and cannot be exchanged for cash

4. Free room (Voucher 1) is applicable during Low Season only as per Genting's seasonal
chart
A booking fee of RM 10 is charged for phone booking (No charge if booking is done online
or via sms).
During shoulder or peak season, a surcharge will be imposed by Genting
First World
+ RM40 nett for shoulder season
+ RM80 nett for peak season
Awana
+ RM60 nett for shoulder season
+ RM100 nett for peak season

5. Special room rate (Voucher 2) is applicable during Low Season only as per Genting's
seasonal chart
For check in during shoulder or peak season, a surcharge will be imposed by Genting
+ RM30 nett for shoulder season
+ RM60 nett for peak season

6. Original voucher must be presented upon check-in, when ordering or when purchasing
tickets.

7. Hotel check-in must be before 6 pm or normal rates will be charged

8. For hotel vouchers (Voucher 1,2,3,4,5), walk-in guests would not be entertained. Booking
is subject to availability. Please book at:
- Genting's Booking Website . Booking can be done after 15 June 2009.

9. Not applicable with other on-going promotions.
